MEET THE 2026 MISS FLORIDA TEEN USA®

Sarah Duncan

A senior at Crystal River High School, Sarah brings a detail-oriented drive and a heart for STEM to her new title. She’s set her sights on becoming a reconstructive plastic surgeon, dreaming of operating her own practice and using her skills on mission trips and with Smile Train to bring smiles to children across the globe. Her biggest inspiration is her dad, a doctor of anesthesiology whose work ethic and kindness have shaped how she leads.

Sarah’s proudest achievement came from founding a program to encourage young girls to explore STEM, watching their confidence grow taught her that leadership isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about creating opportunities for others to discover their own potential. That lesson now shapes her platform, S.O.S. (Strengthening Opportunities in STEM), which she’ll continue to champion as Miss Florida Teen USA, helping young girls and boys not just enter STEM fields, but lead them.

As Miss Florida Teen USA, Sarah wants to be known for her kindness, her eagerness to help others, and her self-proclaimed nerdy love of science, guided by the belief that a simple act of kindness can change someone’s day.
